Having trouble with a 1999 clk 320 bas/asr system. I get a c1025 can buss error alarm in the computer. I have checked the power and grounds into the bas/asr computer and they check out. How do I check if the data lines into this computer are working? Any help would be apreciated.

Are you getting a warning light, or do you just have a fault code that you can't clear? If you're not getting a warning light, don't worry about the fault code. There were some minor differences on some of the early BAS systems from model to model which caused the C1025/CAN fault code.

The alarm will not clear. The dash panel reads bas and the fault light is lit up.
