sway bar links, mysterious part, clicking brakes, etc...

hey everyone,

a few simple questions from a newby MB DIYer. I have an 82 300D.

1. I want to change out my rear stabalizing bar links cause Im hearing clunking back there when I am slowly moving. Where are these links located (pictures most helpfull, but any descriptions are appreciated...)

2. My right front brake is clicking loudly when I drive under 30 mph. At least I think its the brake because when I apply even a slight amount of pressure to the brake pedal it stops. Removed the wheel today to inspect brakes and found the anti rattle spring is missing... The sound isn't so much a rattle as a click, but couldn't get the sound to reproduce itself once the wheel was off... could it be that missing rattle spring?

3. Poking around I found an interesting little horn shaped attatchment hanging on what looked like a brake line. it was crusty and came off in my hand. It was attatched right at where the brake and fuel lines are attatched to the frame. What on earth is this thing and is it important?

Thanks for any help.
- Ben
