				92 190e 2.6L - shifting problems

I always have to push a little harder for the tranny to get in gear (D drive)? When I put it in D it seems like it is in Neutral. Therefore, having to push back a little further does the trick. Someone told me something on the side of the tranny needs to be replaced??? thanks, Joseph |

no its a little tough.if you get the bushings and slide off the clips, then cut about 1/32 of the circle out of the bushings you will be able to get them in the holes with a little grease.now slide the rod back through the bushings and get a medium size slot screwdriver and slip it into the top of the clip as an aid to replacing them.
