300CE waterpump
Can anyone tell me how many foot pounds of torque are required for the bolts on the waterpump of an M 104 waterpump?

According the MB maintenance CD, it is 25lbft.

I don't have the CD. Haynes manual is showing 17 ft/lbs or 23 nm for 104 motor.

You are both right, I was wrong.
It is 25Nm, not 25ftpd. Sorry for the confusion. Last edited by Jackd; 01-14-2007 at 08:53 PM. |

300Ce waterpump torque
Thanks for the info guys...given where the pump is it makes it difficult to get the bolts on let alone get a torque wrench in there.
