'85 380SE - coolant sensors... not available on MS?

I think I need a coolant sensor for my 380SE and I cannot seem to find it listed here on the parts section. I looked under "cooling system", but do not see it listed.

Please help.

Hello,

Give this a try:

Water Temperature Sender (Body Electrical): P4036-12281

Coolant Level Sensor: G1050-16387

I think one of these is what you are after, they are both for the 1985 380SE.

Rather than select cooling system, just type "sensor" into the parts search field and you will get a long list of sensors including the ones you are looking for.

Thanks guys... found it @ $37.00 and some change.

Hopefully that is part of my poor running engine problem.

Why gamble? 37 bucks is 37 bucks. Do a search - you can test the resistance of the sensor with engine hot/cold and see if it's within spec.
