Heeeelo again everyone... Long time no hear... well..the babyBenz is at the shop getting the ignition tumbler replaced. Anyways, I wanted to know somthing about something I observe while slowing down to a stop while the airconditioner is on. it seems that there is a sort of clunk (sort of sounds like knocking lightly on the body of the car) while slowing down... it happens 3 or 4 times and I notice the engine tach jumping each time until I come to a full stop. Is this a sign that I'm going to be dishing out a lot of money pretty soon? The trans still shifts very smoothly... just that when slowing down... that clunking sound is heard. any insights?

Possibly the flex disc on the driveshaft is failing.
