Service repair bullentins

are there any mercedes benz service repair bullentins avalible to the general public as most problems occuring with old and new mercedes cars have been covered and factory fixes and parts needed to repair are spelled out

I worked for a mercedes dealership for 11 years and these were avalible in loose leaf form for the mechanics to use during normal work day to help diagnose and repair problems

Just wondering if i could get a hold of source to purchase

Technical Service Bulletins, or TSB's, are notifications from vehicle manufacturers to advise their new car dealers' service departments.

Most of them are in the service CDs and DVDs from Mercedes.

Available for your car at dealer or by calling 1-800-for-merc

Right, i remember those day well. "SI's" they were called and were snail mailed to us. Remember updating ETM's, DM's, and the microfiche file???
Now the first computer foray was WIS, I dont know if they still refer to it as WIS or not, but WIS seemed to have a pretty good file of the SI's if it was something yo really need. Startekinfo probably does have them too, to a point. I have some of that old crap on fiche yet, if there is something in particular you need.

As another aside, remember the HHT and how the modules had to get somehow updated via the phone line? I have info on that old stuff too. I like the HHT, nice tool.
