I am in the process of investing some money in improving my great C280 1997 just bought (48K miles)
I already have identified what to replace in the front axle.
A couple of items need to be replaced there.
I'd like to have hints related to the rear axle.
Making more clear what I am looking for as there is nothing broken there: I decided to change the shocks and would like to know wich parts normally show wearing after this mileage AND are relatively cheap to replace given that the mechanic will be working in the area.
In other words: for almost the same labour and a couple of hundreds dollars I may end up with something better overall.
The area has never been serviced before.
