Anyone know the torque spec for the valve cover?

No, but we can figure out what it needs. Does this have a rubber o ring in a groove type gasket? The groove on this type is sized so once the cover contacts the head, maximum sealing is attained, any torque applied after that is just to keep the bolt from vibrating out.

Medium - firm tight with a screw driver is usually sufficient for 6 MM dia bolts ( usually 10 mm hex head )
