New Plugs now higher idel

Just repl my 190e 2.6 plugs with new @.032 gap, went from 700 rpms to 1200 on cold start, works down to 900 when warmed. Was very careful not to displace or break any vac lines, what happened, old plugs were nice and dry with good color. a 200 rpm gain when warm with only plugs seems a little odd. any suggestions.
