W201 Blower motor: pull dash or get at it from the under the hood?
i recently tried to replace the blower motor in my 1984 190E 2.3. I used the DIY article for replacing the motor on the W124 as a guide, hoping the set-up would be similar.
Alas, I can get to the motor from under the hood, but removing seems impossible because of its position. Anyone had any experience replacing the blower on the W201? Any hints would be appreciated, it's quite cold in oklahoma city! Thanks, Gabe |

Answer:
Warning:
If the windshield has been replaced improperly, it will break during wiper assembly removal... #1. Remove the total Mono blade wiper assembly. #2. Remove the center section of the false bulkhead. #3. Remove the clips holding blower cover, and cover. #4. Remove blower motor clips. #5. Install new blower. You need to read both of these threads before step #1.
