W202 front spring removal without compressor

Has anyone tried this? What is the shortest way possible to remove the springs?

shock top, sway bar, upper control arm is my guess....is there anything that I can just leave it in and still push the lower control arm far enough to remove the coils?

If there's no way around it I'll have to rent a tool......

If you are installing new springs, a trained person with a cutting torch can remove both front in two minutes.

The compressor is still needed to install new springs.

Have a great day.
