I'm doing an ignition tune-up this weekend...

I've noticed that my 1996 E320 has been idling a little bit rougher than usual and I haven't changed the plugs and/or wires since I bought it a few months ago. I know this car takes Bosch F9DC0 copper plugs, but are Bosch ignition wires acceptable as oem replacements?

Also, do '96 M-104 equiped E320's commonly suffer from the same clogged EGR tube issues that earlier models did?

Chris

Question

I just noticed that my owner's manual specs Bosch F9DC0 spark plugs, but Phil at Fastlane is calling for Bosch F8DC4's. Which is best for my application?

F8DC4 replaces the original. I would try just plugs and the plug connectors under each coil.
All 104 engines had the egr tube problem.

Chris, F8DC4's work fine in my cars with 104 engines.
