my haynes covers 280e 77 to 81.
i have a feeling your car is a euro. so it may not apply. 1. points gap .012 in. you prob dont have. 2. dwell angle at 1500 rpm for transistorized ignition 33 to 51 degrees advance. 3. timing 110.988 engine 12 BTDC static, 30 dynamic, uk specs. 4. timing 110.988 engine 10 BTDC static, 10 dynamic (i dont understand this) 5. plug gap .031. 6. valve clearance cold. intake .004, exhaust .010 in. as i said this is for the 81 280e so yours may be different. good luck tom w
