w140 m119 engine mounts need to replace

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the engine mounts on a w140 with a m119 engine? I have searched but unable to find any info.

Should I leave it to the indy to do?

Thanks

Tom

I had Mb do it

Depends on how good you are, The process involves lifting the engine, and loosening the exhaust pipes, the trans mount must be removed, mine was rusted. They replaced it at the same time

It isn't easy. There is little room to maneuver. Patience and possibly some modified wrenches / sockets will help.
