steering

Hi,

I recently started feeling and hearing a slight popping sound when I turn my steering wheel in either direction. The problem is more prominent when the steering wheel is turned while the car is not moving.

Any ideas what this may be ?

Tierods, balljoints come to mind. Loose steering box or lugnuts are probably less likely.

also could be dry ball joints.

if so grease inserted into the boot with a needle attachment on your grease gun will often get a few more years out of it before having to do new ball joints. as long as they aren't loose.
