300 SEL Coolant Problem

Has anyone had the problem with oil getting into the coolant? It doesn't seem to be getting in the oil however it may be I just have not seen it there yet. I replaced the head gasket pulled all the valves and did not see any crack is the head last week. Replaced the head gasket with the Engler and put in a set of valve stem seals and reassembled the car. Runs great but I fear I did not find the problem as there is still some oil visible sitting atop the antifreeze in the coolant tank.
Any help would be greatly appreciated in tracking this down. It is a very nice car with 187,00 miles on it.

if your capable of taking out the top section of the engine, as you say so, I don't see any point why you would not understand oil in your water resevoir.

I was hoping someone would know where the block cracks if one works on these engines specific that would know where it is the weakest and may tell me where to look. I guess when I find it and I will. I will let you know so you can tell others. Thanks in advance Jim.
