1997 C280 multiple cylinder misfire

I'm coming up with a code that is a multiple cylinder misfire.Cylinders 2,4 and 6.Sitting at idle in park everything is fine. When I bring the RPMs up to around 2000 the car starts spitting and sputtering. I changed 2 coil packs and spark plugs to no avail. I have a new fuel filter but have not replaced it yet.The car only has 50000 miles on it.Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike Bittner

Use these only

..and change the coil to plug connectors [ the ones under the coils]

you will probably find that mass air flow meter needs replacing.if you have access to a scanner reading live data you can see what the reading for kg/hr are when the engine is revved.it should climb to about 350 but will probably stop at 120.

Then change the plug connectors under each coil...common misfire fault.

..I would also make sure the correct plugs are in there while you are at it.
104's don't like many plugs b/c of the Waste Spark Ignition design, but we have found that they DO like F8DC4/Bosch.

What scanner do you have? Can it read adaptation values?

Thanks,

Mike
