400E Bilstein Sport part numbers PLEASE!!!

Hello everyone...

I've done some searches but can't seem to find the exact part numbers for the Bilstein Sport shocks/struts for my 92 400E.

Does anyone know this information FOR SURE??? Also, any idea who carries them?

Thanks so much in advance...

Peter

Call Phil - Looks like you need shorter springs to run sports.

I don't think there was a 400E Sportline version. Sportline Shocks are designed for the shorter , stiffer springs in the Sportline. I don't think they will fit your car. They also would not be a good match for the springs in your regular suspension car.

I had a '90 300E and went with the HD version Bilstein's. These did improve the handling.

http://www.bilstein.com/303passengercars.pdf shows it - you're not likely to find a better source of the information than Bilstein. You indeed must have shorter springs as the footnote on the last page explains.

thanks guys...guess i should have stated the car is ALREADY lowered on H&R springs.

Therefore...I just need to find the current part numbers. I pulled the info off of the Bilstein website, but it lists the same p.n. for ALL 124s. I thought because the 400E is HEAVIER than the 300E, there should be a different number.

Anyone bought these already who knows for sure?

Thank you,

PEter

Available in Europe only. In the front it had 500E struts and 400E Sportline coil springs. In the rear it was standard sportline kit. Had all the other standard sportline bits as well... bucket seating etc.

edit - it also had the swaybars off a 500E.

I just installed a set of Bilstein Sports on a 500E.

I'll try to dig up the #'s this w/e.
