I have a 1990 300 SE with a broken driver window regulator. The style of regulator that is in the driver door has all the holes in the arms.. I have a brose regulator on the shelf but it is more solid stamped parts with out all the holes. I have seen adds for regulators that say specific to brose. My question is what brand of regulator do I have and will the brose fit?

It sounds like you have a Reitter and Schefenacher regulator. I have never tried to use a Brose Coburg where a R&S existed but I would think the door would accept it. The motor would be different.

The gentleman that I recieved the brose claimed it will fit and mentioned something about the motor direction. the replacement unit that I have (brose) is complete with a motor . Sounds like it will work. Thanks again
