Help! I'm removing the old waterpump and have rotated the steering pump out of the way, removed drive pulleys and engine shock.I can't figure out how to move the belt tensioner so I can access the front two cap screws on the waterpump flange. Can anyone help me?

You forgot to loosen the big 19mm bolt that goes through the center of the belt tensioner.
It's down there right in front of the tesioner. Steve |

5cylnoplugs, I take it you have already removed the drive belt. The belt tensioner on a 1994 E320 should be the newer style ... place the appropriate size socket on the center bolt of the tensioner and use a breaker bar to rotate the tensioner so you can access the water pump cap screws. You'll likley need someone to assist you.
