when i turn the lights on the drivers light flickers for about 2-3 seconds and then goes dark. How can i dio this? Is this a common cause when the ballast goes?
any help apprecated.

Try swapping the bulbs from one side to the other, and see if the problem moves. That'll help isolate the problem.

it followed the headlight so i guess the bulb is bad
