buying 1992 300SE - what to check?

i might buy locally 1992 300 se, one owner, new tires, new a/c compressor, new head gasket, 133 kmiles, top and hood paint faiding. In pictures car looks excellent.
I had all these diesels, but never big w140. What shall i check???
How are these cars, how are these inline 6 engines???
