power window stopped
1984 190D....
The driver's window has stopped and it's about 4" open.... I have tried swapping the switches and wires and the switch is good as the front switch will operate the rear window if the window harnesses are swapped under the shifter trim panel. All the fuses under the hood (left rear fuse panel) appear to be good. Is there another fuse panel on these cars? Also, none of the fuses under the hood appear to be marked so I'm not sure what is what. What is the more common failure item on these power windows? Motor failure, bad wire or ground, hidden fuse, broken wire where passing thru door jam? The passenger front works, driver rear works. Passenger rear did not work when I bought it and have not messed with it yet. Drivers window worked fine until yesterday.
