C180 Setting Timing after chain

99 c180 Tming chain broke.
Installed new chain, installed according to alldata. Runs like crap.
Pulled the valve cover back off and it doesn't make sense that the intake and exhaust cam lobes are not 180 degrees from each other. There is only one hole in the exhaust cam for alignment, but more than one on the intake.
Any help is appreciated.
