Brian Carlton has been the most patient helping me work through problems with my limited mechanical skills and knowledge.

WHunter gets my thanks for pointing me to links when I can't turn up what I'm looking for with the Search function.

For those that don;t want to vote,,, you can vote for all if you would like,,,

Actually I started this post because I am having some problems with my newest, a 1988 190e. Asking for advice, trhe first response from one member (We'll call him "D") was to replace the fuel distributor,,, I thought he was crazy for suggesting that, before even asking if I checked for vacuum leaks,,, As it turns out,,, this member has suggested replacing the fuel distributor to roughly seven members within one month, that had driveability issues,,, well another forum member came to "D's" side stating that "D" provides good information and I should appreciate it,,, I thought,,, good information??? How can the first advice outta this guys keyboard be to replace the friggin fuel distributor,,, that's good advice??? And so here we have it,,, if you got votes on this poll, you DO give good advice and I want to thank you...

I vote for Arthur Dalton.

It's a shame he's missing from your poll.

Thanks Tom W, and AustinsCe

LarryBible..? Who's that ?..My Atheist @$$ has never even heard of you..(Sorry Larry). I had to vote for Tom Walgamuth. Tom, You always seem to Chime in when I need advice most, or someone to side with me. If I had a second vote also though. I'd have to say that AustinsCe, is coming in about even with Tom W.

Thanks a lot guys. By the way, This is a great thread..

Shouldn't this be either cross posted to the diesel forum or in open discussion? Some of us might not come over here too often...

All those listed and then some.
It is the post/poster that gets us back on track, that we value the most.

I really wanted to put 20 (or more) people on the poll, but I only selected the members with the 10 highest post count. I realize that there are a bunch of members that help others, and I wish I could have included everyone, but only the website admin could do something like that,,, I could however add posts to include the other members, but I don't want to clutter up the forum with bunches and bunches of who helped you the most threads,,,

Well thats good! For each may have an area of knowledge, that covers a particular unit they have had hands on experience with. The knowledge is gained, though it dose not make them an engineer on the subject,It dose give them more information than the one asking for help,or it may not. That is up to the individual to deceiver.
