Well I removed it and opened it up and found nothing wrong with it.

However when hooking it back up again I noticed that it misbehaved when there was stress on the box. I placed it in the slot so there was no stress on it and it worked fine. Then when I was screwing the face plate over the assembly the off button began acting up again when the screws were tight. (Cover was on correctly)

I backed the screws off just a little and the unit works fine again.

The face plate screws, screw into the frame for the control unit and if too tight causes the unit to bind so that the off button does not function properly.

Another one for the Wisdom File!
