I need to replace a hose coming from the firewall. It carries coolant. What is the best way to get this off (easiest). Is there some trick? Cutting and peeling perhaps.
Do I use some sort of sealer (Permatex) when I put the new one on to assure a good seal? I would prefer something available at NAPA or a parts chain. I guess a dealer probably sells it but I figure a Permatex sort of product should do. I just don't know which one. |
