A/C compressor short cycles. Unit does cool well and refrigerant charge is good.

In a recent post here about the pros/cons of various refrigerants, Steve Brotherton mentioned something about an intermittant cycling problem caused by a Klima Relay.

Could a faulty Klima Relay cause short cycling? In my case, the unit runs for 12-15 secs; then cycles off for this same duration. This occurs at highway speeds. At idles speed, it may run a bit longer before cycling off and on. Thanks for your time.

It could be the Klima relay. But, it could be a high pressure situation.
