Trans work on 202: MB reman, or indy?
Love our 98 C230, but at 130k miles the trans is getting close to some work - never has worked completely right, despite 3 essentially rebuild attempts by the dealership during warranty. so the question is, swap it for a factory reman (with a good anywhere 1 year warranty), or hope an independent MB trans shop can do it right this time. Leaning towards the factory trans, but any input appreciated!

If they could not get it right, get a complete replacement (rebuilt) from MB I would do the torque converter and fush lines. I just had my 92 SEL in for trans flush and refill, and did "what" if they found shavings, the answer was they dont rebuild them it is too time consuming (MB has a rebuilt program)
