Whats a Faster??
do you think your car would be faster without having a filter on cold air intake??

No. And it would lead to premature engine wear.

The quickest way to foul up your mass air sensor is to do what you've prescribed...

He means the air filter has a purpose.
Like , filtering the dirt particles in the intake air BEFORE they trash the MAF. |

If the filters weren't necessary, they would be on there in the first place. Why not remove the brake system from the car? It would go "faster" without all that extra weight.

That's all. ...they just don't want road dirt and debries entering the engine controls and the internals of the engine..A clean a/f will produce all the needed air the engine could possibly consume..
