First off thanks for the great info by members on this board. I just replaced my ingnition tumbler, it took 1 hour, 15 minutes and 15 seconds. The 1 hour and 15 minutes were spent just trying to get the tumbler in the right position, the 15 seconds to get it out. The best advice from a post was KEEP trying to get the tumbler to the correct position, it worked!! Don't give up.
Now the questions..
1) Is there anyway to test my AC/Heat cabin blower motor (its not runnung) without going through the removal process. Just want to be sure its the motor before pulling it out. Fuse is good.
2) What is causing motor oil to pool on top of the air breather cover. My car is a 1990 300e, 245,000 mi. and the local MB shop rebuilt the top end about 45k miles ago.
Thanks again!!
