Sportline Front Strut Help!
I think I may have just ordered the wrong front strut for my 94 W124 Wagon Sportline conversion
![]() The original part that was ordered was 124-320-35-30, tagged as 300TE Sportline Wagon (Euro) Front Strut. I'm wondering if these are much softer, or what the exact difference between this and the 124-320-60-30 (Old 124-320-64-30) for the 300E/D Sportline. Systematically, the trend points to the higher number being stiffer and I'm guessing this is the same situation with the association of these two part numbers. I'm hoping I'm wrong, otherwise I will have some front struts for sale soon ![]() And/or... Does anyone have the specs for a Euro Sportline 192.091? Wagon front gvw of the euro vehicle? Thanks for the help! Last edited by kwontumspeed; 06-26-2007 at 02:38 PM. Reason: Additional ?s |

All I can say is that the 124-320-35-30 is the strut used for most Sportline spec wagons, regardless of engine. As to what the difference is compared to the sedan struts, I really don't know. I do know that the numbers are somewhat meaningless, the larger number most likely does NOT indicate stiffer or softer. If you have the 35-30's, I'd keep them.
