A/C Compressor?
Hi,
i bought my self a new W126 280SE '82. I've imported it from Switzerland, and it drives like a dream. Only 82.000 miles But i have a question. I used to have to other 280SE's, but none of them used to have this part under the hood (or i didn't noticed it before). Can you guys tell me if this is perhaps an A/C compressor? I hope the pictures are detailed enough. Is this an A/C compressor or something else? It got an belt running to it, besides the other belt that goes to the dynamo. Thanks. |

It is defiantly the power steering pump. Open it to check the oil level. You'll see a red fluid, it's a transmission fluid.
