OK, so I'm a girl, but I can't seem to figure out the magic formula of how to click in the main driver side mirror assembly (got wacked off, but is in good shape). There are two tabs towards the end that have to be inserted, but then the assembly won't fit correctly. Can someone give me the secret?

I have nearly the same problem. All adjustments work:left,right,up & down. However, the "left-right "range" is incorrect. The mirror needs to be adjusted inward (left) a bit more. In the current position, at the leftmost end of the operating range, I still cannot see the right side of the car from the driver's seat. I have tried to manually move the mirror more inward, but I'm afraid any more force I use will break the mirror.
