Water Pump Question with Pics
I am installing my new Laso water pump into my 96 C280 and there are a few "extra" parts
I have attached a pic with the questions, but this pump is OEM and fits my vehicles, BUT has extra open ports, threaded, and a set of o-rings, two bolts, two locak washers and a brass flange, but no where to put it.... Any help would be appreciated.... Thanks |

The Parts store is telling me that they filed to ask me a questions before I bought the pump and that I need plugs.....anyone agree or know what exactly I need?
Are they a simple bolt to plug the hole or is it a high temp plug, etc...? |

Well, if anyone comes across this same issue here is how I handled the fix...
The original post has pics of the LASO water pump which for my 104 engine is NOT the correct pump. The LASO pump has two different threaded holes in which my engine has nothing to connect to these holes. So we decided to use a few oil drain plugs to plug the threaded holes.... Easy and seems to be working and an oil drain plug can handle the heat.... |
