Lens Frame

Easy! Just replaced one of mine on my 1989 300E.

Gently lift up the two plastic clips on top of the frame with a screwdriver or similiar tool. There are two clips on the bottom too. There is a screw that needs to be taken off holding the fascia plate in place. Pull out the plate slightly at an angle in order to Gently pull off the lens frame.

The new frame will look cleaner and less yellow (due to age) than the opposite one. You may want to pull off the other side and clean the inside of it.

New lens frames cost arount $100 online. If you are really particular about your car, you may want to order both left and right frames so they will match perfectly, otherwise just replace the damaged one. I went so far as to pull out the headlights and cleaned the inside of them. The lights look new and put out more light than previously due to age, dirt and grime.

Good Luck!
