190e - Help debugging aux fan not working

To all,

I have read most of the threads in the forum about aux fans not working and have tried most things but the fans in my 190e 2.6 are not coming on. Here's what I have done:

1. Connected power direct to the fans - work fine.
2. Pulled the wires from the red A/C pressure switch and jumped them, fans came on when ignition turned on.
3. Pulled connector from the blue temp sensor on the head - no fans. Jumped it - no fans.
4. Replaced the resistor - was looking a little burned.

Any thoughts on what to try next?
