M120 V12 question
My 97 S600 start misfiring again, it happened last summer but the problem was gone for a while, now it is coming back.
The car was sitting for a month and I got a chance to drive it last weekend. I am from HK and the traffic is so bad so I got stuck in traffic for at least 30 mins at hot and humid condition. 1)my outside temp sensor quit working (that's always happen in summer when caugh in traffic in summer) 2) then suddenly i realize that my low engine oil warning, ABS and BAS/ESP warning light are on, also all the gauge are not working except the speedometer and the oil pressure, the oil pressure is in ok shape (1.5 and will climb to 3 when hit the gas) and the car seems normal, so i keep driving til find a safe area to stop my car. I turn off and restart the car again, the car works perfect, all the warning lights gone.......................... I keep driving and then parked outside a restaurant and have dinner, when i return to the car, it start normally and drive perfectly after 15 mins of highway traffic i come to a traffic light, then i feel the car is shaking, the idle rpm is not stable but only jump between 600-800. 3) this happened before and when i head back to home i open the hood, put the key at start position (but not turn on the engine), i heard a bee sound from the place i circle in red. i am not sure if it is from there or somewhere behind. It is from the Left hand bank of the V12 when i am facing at the engine. My question is 1) does anybody has this kind of experience? 2) my AC panel light will be dimmed when switch on my turn signal, it is at night time and i have my AC on. I changed my battery recently, is it the generator? 3) My car has no ESP or BA or ABS, but there's also no warning light on the dash, i can turn on/off ESP (althought it is not working) after start but wont able to after drive for like 20 mins, anyone experience? I brought to an INDY to check and they said the whole ESP computer need to be replace so i dont even bother to touch it. THank you |
