Help 2001 E320 stumbles when coming to a stop

I need help. For the last few months my car has been stumbling and hesitating when coming to the first stop sign on my way to work. It only happens at the first stop. After the car engine stumbles for about 30 seconds it smoothes out and idles fine the rest of the day.

The car has 108,000 miles on it and shows no other symptoms of any kind. No CEL and no codes stored.

I replaced the spark plugs yesterday and the air filter which seemed to help the tiny vibration (miss) I used to feel. The car received a new MAF back in 2004 and new motor mounts in late 2004.

The searching I have done for this problem has lead me to similar symptoms in a 1995 model. These were fixed replacing either some type of a boot on the bottom of the coils (I didn't see any boots on the bottoms of my coils) or a new ECM.

What direction should I take? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
David

Have the Oxygen sensors ever been replaced?
