Question Lock Problem...Need Vacuum Pump?

1992 MB 190e 2.6L

My locks don't work and I can only unlock from the passenger side door. The driver side feels gummy and the trunk does nothing. Any suggestions? Do you think it's the vacuum pump? Or, can I just install a wireless entry/iginition set up? Thanks in advance! MW

It is easy to pop out the rear seat bottom and inspect the pump for operation. Without a functioning power door lock circuit, keyless entry can't function either. The pump CAN fail, but other common causes are leaky vacuum system or worn out lock actuators.
