Break replacement 2005 C230 Komp
I have a 2005 C230 Komp and my warning light came on in my dash cluster for my breaks. When I looked it up in the owner's manual it said that my break pads need to be replaced but did not tell me if they were the fronts or the rears. The car has 71,000km and this will be my first break job on this car. I have replaced my breaks on my 1989 300E a few times with out any problems. To replace the breaks on the C230 the same way as the 300E?
Also what parts are needed (pads, rotors, pad wear sensors)? Thanks, Fab |

Isn't that covered under warranty?

Since this is a wear and tear item the warrenty does not apply. SO I have been told.

At 71 k km you should only need front pads.
You can buy new sensors if you want. The're just a couple of dollars each. The job is very simple. ![]()
