LOL, I've learned my lesson. It's okay though. After I get this problem fixed, I will have a sweet ride on my hands. Also my first car. This will be great experience for me.

Back to the cat. Assuming it's still the original, how many miles (or km) are on the car?
My 88 with 95,500 miles still has the original. No problems at all here in NJ, which has pretty tough emissions testing. If you're up in the 160,000+ miles range, you may be living on borrowed time. But I agree with the others, do the O2 right away, then see what happens. |

Umm the car has 212,000 KM on it.
So, would I get any problems if I use a universal cat on this? I really need to know this. |

Well it's been 2 weeks. What was the answer?
