91 300E CA version vs. rest of US version
Is a CA version of the 91 300E less desirable to purchase over the 49 state version? I have read of poorer mileage associated with the tougher CA smog regs of the day. (I live in MD.)
Can the 1991 CA version be 'retuned' so that it's smog/mileage settings are in line with the 'rest of US' version? |

No rear difference on that model, there is better diagnostics though.

I have a 1988 300ce california model; is there any major difference compared to the regular one? Thanks.

No, but again you have "blink" code diagnostics & the "federal" version doesn't.
