How do I find out the name of my interior color?

How do I find out the name of my interior color? The car is a 230E from 1983. It was shipped to the states from Europe. Now its a parts car. The plasticy bits in the vehicle match my palomino 300D but the seats and carpet are all lighter, and not sunbleached but definitely a different color though still in the tannish palomino range. They are in great shape and I'd like to sell them but I don't know what name to offer them under. Can I find out from the vin? is there a color code?
Thanks for your time,
Jeff

Look under the front seat bottom, and the inside of the rear seat backrest, for a tag with the color code on it. You'll need a bit of help interpreting the German nomenclature and the associated code numbers. I did this drill years ago, and have forgotten the coding system.
