How to get to window switches on the console?
Want to get to the switches as my child lock switch is stuck. Don't want to break the plastic stuff figuring this out while taking apart. Anyone know the tricks?

Pull up the wood and detach the switch module from underneath.
On your W210 you get to buy a "module" which contains all four window switches. This of course is covered in the W210 Service DVD which you can purchase from your dealer or at 800.for.merc

I am able to remove using the following steps.
Remove the black trip piece around the shifter gate. Use a plastic knife to pry it up. Partially close the cupholder door with one hand and reach under the console piece holding the switches with the other hand and pull up gently and evenly as to not twist the wood and crack it. unplug the switches and remove from bottom by sliding the clips to the opening and the switch module should come right out.
