W124 M103 O2 Sensor Lamp

Hello,

The information I have dug through has me confused.
Car is ‘86 300E 225k miles. Been running fine all week — though more and more finicky at cold start. My 02 Sensor lamp sometimes is not lit (more and more) in test position (position 2 with key) . When not lit it seems to be much more difficult to cold start. I have a new o2 sensor ready to install (mechanic tested old one bad and going, or “lazy” as he put it), and ironically the car will not start — the last time I shut it off this morning it was to line it up at the ramps. Car is sitting in driveway ready to run up the ramps but wont start. Oh the horror. I tried jumping 7&8 on the fuel pump relay test mode but still cannot start. I will let it sit a while (battery is no the charger now) and try again --- but any advice?

Is this OVP Relay?

Thanks
