Help-Transmission Swap 4 Bolt to 6 Bolt

I am installing a 300D Turbo Engine/6 Bolt Pan Trans. in a non turbo car... There is a wire that runs from the kickdown switch under the accelerator pedal to the old 4 bolt pan transmission on the right side, bottom front(a small rectangular metal black box). The 6 bolt pan transmission does not have a place for this wire... What do I need to do with the wire???? Also the new transmission does not use the same speedometer cable.... Any ideas/comments/suggestions will be apprerciated...... Jim

Did you ever get any response?

Jim,
I have just completed a similar 4 bolt tranny for a six bolt swap. I'm not worried about the extra wire, yet. But I'm stuck on the speedo cable. How did you solve this? I'm thinking of using a dremel to shave down the flat bar to a square, but it's a one shot thing and I'm not that confident.
