what car you are using for?

If NA, both are little high temp one using. You can try to find out from hot climate area, they so have 80 degree thero-switch.

Thanks Jeff, I found a quote form a mod thread "You can still use the resistor mod on the 190e 2.3 engine which has a seperate fan switch to turn on the electromagnectic fan."
The engine is an modded M119.960, it only has the factory NTC sensors no thermo-switches. The cars not overheating, I just want more control as the ECU I'm using has one fan switch output and I have a dual stage fan from a BMW, I want it to come on (low cycle, thermo-switch controlled) at 85deg.C and the high cycle (ecu controlled) at 98-100deg.C.
Then obviously the factory aux fans kick in around 110 but I plan for it to never get that high.

Can anyone tell me the part number and any details i.e. @ what temp it switches, where its located for when Im at a wreckers.
thanks
