I have a 92 300/24 CE and have an ASR light that goes on after I drive it for 5 minutes or so. Stopping and restarting car will usually reset the system and it will return to limp mode in a few blocks to sometimes not at all. Ive had the car to the MB Dealership @ $300.00 later they tell me it could be a wheel sensor or the main computer???? they're not sure. I would like to drive the car and really don't care if the ASR works or not. I'm told the repair is over 2 grand and for 300 they can't even give me a reasonable appraisal. Does anyone have a clue how to make the thing work or how to shut the system off. The ABS light stays off so it shouldn't have anything to do with that. thanks Jim
